rotor oil
Selmer tuning slide grease
mouthpiece brush
snake
remove excess water from instrument
wipe instrument down, removing traces of fingerprints
return instrument to case
clean mouthpiece using liquid hand soap and lukewarm water
visually inspect instrument for mechanical changes (ie. broken water key, springs, torn corks, etc.)
vacuum case
snake and rinse lead pipe and slides
grease all slides
have instrument looked at by a qualified technician.
Your case is a very important piece of equipment as it protects your instrument against small bumps and scratches.
most cases do not offer protection against heavy drops
do not store music/music folder inside your case unless it is designed for this.
DO NOT SIT ON YOUR CASE!
make sure instrument fits properly in case
most shops will not charge to remove a frozen mouthpiece - please do not attempt this yourself
